The MacBook Pro comes equipped with Apple T2 Security Chip that includes Secure Enclave coprocessor to give the device encrypted storage capabilities. Apple used the old scissor switch-style keys in its laptops until 2015 when it introduced the new key mechanism in the 12-inch MacBook. They sport built-in premium finished aluminum with a glass-covered screen, a centralized keyboard flanked by speakers on each side, and a massive Force Touch trackpad.

For customers who ordered online, 16-inch MacBook Pro deliveries begin today.

The new MacBook Pro features a completely revamped keyboard layout after the butterfly keyboard of the previous generation had issues like sticky keys, repeated characters and unresponsive buttons that MacBook users have complained about. The Magic Keyboard, as Apple calls it, features a scissor switch that looks "almost identical" to the ones found in the desktop version of the Magic Keyboard, according to iFixit. The new keyboard features an Apple-designed rubber dome, with 1mm of key travel and a stable feel.

Similarly, the latest 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, Intel's Quad-Core i5 chipset, 8GB RAM, and 256GB of internal storage is listed at Rs. 1,29,900 (MRP: Rs. 1,39,900).

Further, you can avail no-cost EMIs and exchange offers on the latest iPhones 11-series. Based on the support document of the Cupertino-based tech giant, the 16-inch MacBook Pro can drive several 6K, 5K, and 4K monitors in various configurations.

Apple did not mention the departure of earlier MacBook Pro models, announcing the 16-inch MacBook Pro via a press statement. The company improved the mechanism in recent models, however.

For those toying with the idea of buying the new 16-inch MacBook Pro and wondering how many external monitors can be hooked up with the premium Apple laptop, the definite answer a whole lot.
