Golden Globe and Emmy winners Fey and Poehler previously hosted the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. gala from 2013 to 2015, bringing their longtime rapport and banter to the Globes stage.

NBC has not yet announced a date for the 2021 Golden Globes, but the announcement of the hosts was made on Saturday morning (January 11) during the network's panel at the TCA Tour.

"Tina and Amy have provided Golden Globes viewers with some of the most memorable moments the show has ever seen", said Amy Thurlow, President of dick clark productions. They have hosted the ceremony three times before.

Poehler, who starred in Parks and Recreation, now co-hosts the NBC crafts competition Making It, which has been renewed for a third season, Poehler also announced on Saturday.

The 2020 Golden Globe Awards may have already aired, but it's never too late to start looking for the next set of hosts for next year's telecast.

Gervais repeatedly said during the ceremony that it was the last time he meant to host.

"There's no denying that Tina and Amy's comedic chemistry is infectious", Lorenzo Soria, President of the HFPA, said in a statement.

The comedy heavy-hitters are reprising their roles as co-hosts for the 2021 Golden Globe Awards.

Poehler served as a presenter at this year's awards, alongside Taylor Swift when they presented the award for best animated film.

NBC is keeping her busy: The network announced Saturday it's renewed the craft show "Making It", hosted and produced by Poehler and Nick Offerman, former "Parks and Recreation" castmates.
