The musician shared a song called Alabama Hannah online during a livestream Thursday night.
In reality, Hannah B., "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison, and all the producers at ABC are probably more than happy to be highlighted by Owen.
"Monday night, my girlfriend had the damn TV on and all you heard about on the new "Bachelor" was Alabama Hannah, it was just Alabama Hannah everywhere", Owen said with a laugh.
"This rose goes to someone that I'm just really happy is here, and I can see a future and potential there, and they just make me really hopeful", he says before giving her the rose.
"Believe it or not, I met her on the last season of "The Bachelorette", I played "Made For You" for them in I think it was like Rhode Island or something", Owen added. One lucky girl wins $ 20,000 in Revolve clothing - which seems like a great way to kick-start the new life of the social media influencer she's going to have.
"Hannah B. and Peter during the finale", wrote one Twitter user with a GIF of Ryan Gosling's character in The Notebook saying, "It wasn't over, it still isn't over".
Jake wasn't calling out Brown, though, just commenting on the nature of love and rejection.
"This has nothing to do with the actual "Bachelorette".
Ultimately it's Lauren, Payton, and Courtney who are sent home during the rose ceremony - which means virtually nothing because they didn't get any air time and I had to look up who they actually were. "/ Alabama Hannah, won't you go on back home".
The next group date card arrived, reading, "Alexa, Mykenna, Natasha, Deandra, Lexi, Victoria F., Kelsey, Hannah Ann - let your personality shine". "I never said no to you", he tells her after asking if she will take part in the show and fight for a chance to be with him.
"I can't help feel what I feel, I just do". 'I'm flying high, I got peace of mind, I already raised the bar / Now you're showing up here tonight, who do you think you are?'
She was completely convinced that Hannah Ann did this on objective and that she knew just what she was doing.
"I'm not going to compete with your ex. Feelings are feelings ... but you should figure it out and not at the expense of us", Natasha pointed out.
Given she won Peter's First Impression Rose and also snagged a few kisses on Night 1 from The Bachelor star, it appears she does. However, he said that her situation with Weber inspired him as it made for a good country song.
Rather than be offended, Brown was tickled by the track, tweeting back at Owen. You only get one life.
"I didn't have a problem with her until she did what she did", she says in defense.
While Hannah and Peter's love is in the past, the pilot now has plenty of women vying for his heart.
"The Bachelor" continues Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
Will you take this rose?
